LIDEISA is a non-profit Development and Education social enterprise which offers holistic hands-on skills education and leadership mentorship to all people with focus on young people without discrimination.
We work to bridge the education gap between the poor and rich and mentor new breed of leaders for transformation.
At LIDEISA, we believe that Education ought to aim at doing more than preparing young people to be job seekers. Education needs to equip learners with the skills they need to become active, responsible and engaged citizens.
At LIDEISA, we know that learners who are best prepared for the future are change agents and that they can have positive impact on their communities, influence the future, understand others’ intentions, actions and feelings, and anticipate the short and long-term consequences of what they do at a particular time.
Turning learners into much needed change agents, cannot happen by chance. It needs deliberate and concerted efforts to tilt learners’ minds to form clear and purposeful goals hinged on rightful skills to enable them collaborate with varied perspectives, identify untapped opportunities and devise multiple solutions to multifaceted communities’ big problems.
LIDEISA believes that future-ready learners need both broad and specialized knowledge, hence the normalization of offering practical knowledge which is obtained by taking our learners through step-by-step to accomplish certain goal(s).
At LIDEISA, we are cognizant of the truth, step-by-step learning calls for practical problem-solving such as through design thinking and systems thinking, the reason we make learners apply their acquired knowledge in new and evolving situations. This tasks our team to convey a broad range of skills-including cognitive and meta-cognitive skills (critical thinking, creative thinking, learning to learn and self-regulation), social and emotional skills (empathy, self-efficacy and collaboration) and practical and physical skills (using new information and communication technology devices).
To adequately achieve broader range of knowledge, LIDEISA is aware of instrumental role learners’ attitudes and values (motivation, trust, respect for diversity and virtue) which are observed at personal, local, societal and global levels. This justifies our resolve to adjust our learners’ attitudes and values because we are arrive to roles by attitudes and values in enriching human life that largely arise from different cultural perspectives and personality traits. We complete this important aspect of broader knowledge with inculcating most important human values (respect for life and human dignity, respect for environment), that cannot be compromised.
LIDEISA exists for this purpose. We offer broad knowledge to learners, skill learners, change learners’ attitudes and adjusts learners’ values to meet complex demands in today’s world with the requisite capacities.

LIDEISA believes that combination of hands-on skills, retaining girls in education cycle to completion and leadership mentorship, will go a long way in accelerating efforts to achieve #SDGs especially 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17.
We exist to help our trainees to improve courage, creativity, and self-efficacy alongside practical application of knowledge to create sustainable development without leaving anyone behind.
